Yang Sheng, deputy commissioner of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), held talks with Michael Christensen, Denmark's ambassador to China, and Lars Sorensen, chairman of Danish global pharma group Novo Nordisk, on June 15 in Beijing.

The two sides exchanged views on deepening bilateral communication and collaboration, improving regulatory oversight and service delivery, and advancing the development of high-quality pharmaceutical products to benefit the people of both countries.

Officials from the related departments of the NMPA were also present at the meeting.
